Manufacturing Process

The manufacturing process for Windblox Convertible Windscreens is unique in that it's cut by high powered lasers. We utilize a 5,000 watt laser, primarily used for the production of aircraft parts. In comparison, the common range for cutting windscreen material is 25-100 watts. By normal laser process, the material is melted away, leaving a residue and slightly imperfect edge.
